First it was dubbed a “conspiracy theory.” Then it started to gain some traction in the conservative-leaning media. Now it is becoming part of the scientific consensus that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) was probably hatched in a Chinese laboratory.
It appears as though immunologists and geneticists everywhere are beginning to wake up to the fact that this thing is not a naturally occurring virus as the media has been claiming, but is rather a man-made bioweapon that prefers humans over animals, including bats.
A group of these field experts recently told The Daily Telegraph (Australia) that there are two prominent and unusual features to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) that suggest it is more than likely a product of human tampering. One is that it has an affinity for human ACE2 receptors over any other. And two, it bears a strange “furin cleavage site” that its closest genetic relative, RaTG-13, does not have.
This furin cleavage site, in case you are unfamiliar with the term, basically means that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) is highly infectious, and substantially more so than other coronaviruses.
“There are many reasons to believe that the COVID-19 generating SARS-CoV-2 was generated in a lab, most probably by methods of genetic engineering,” contends Dr. Ronen Shemesh, an Israeli geneticist who is working on developing a treatment for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).
“I believe that this is the only way an insertion like the furin protease cleavage site could have been introduced directly at the right place and become effective,” he further claims.
Listen below to The Health Ranger Report as Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, offers his take on how the likely man-made Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) is being used to further a global depopulation agenda:
In Dr. Shemesh’s opinion, the presence of this furin cleavage site raises the most questions about the true origins of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) because it is simply not natural. Such an occurrence would not be present were it not for some kind of human intervention, he says.
“I believe that the most important issue about the differences between all coronavirus types is the insertion of a furin protease cleavage site at the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2,” he says.
“Such an insertion is very rare in evolution. The addition of four such amino acids alone in the course of only 20 years is very unlikely.”
With more than 20 years of experience under his belt working with drug discovery and development, Dr. Shemesh says that the odds of this insertion happening in precisely the right place of the cleavage site of the spike protein to make the virus more infectious are exceptionally low.
“What makes it even more suspicious is that fact that this insertion not only occurred on the right place and in the right time, but also turned the cleavage site from a Serine protease cleavage site to a furin cleavage site,” he is further quoted as saying.
“This protein cleaving protein is highly promiscuous. It’s found in many human tissues and cell types and is involved in many other virus types (and) activation and infection mechanisms (it is involved in HIV, Herpes, Ebola and Dengue virus mechanisms).”
Dr. Shemesh further emphasized that if he were to try to engineer a virus strain with a greater potential to infect humans than animals, “I would do exactly that: I would add a furin cleavage site directly at the original less effective and more cell specific cleavage site.”
